"Old red barn, same name for our daughters and love of buildings - this might be the easiest photo session." Julia's mom Karen expressed to me in one of her emails after I told her that my daughter's name is also Julia, I found her an old red barn (as requested) for our photo shoot, and I use to work in architecture and design - one of her daughter's favorite subjects! Julia was a pleasure to work with - a kind and carefree kid who loves animals. She lit up when she was telling me all about her dog Oak :)
This is one of my absolute favorites. She didn't know I was taking the picture while she thoughtfully observed another family and their dogs walking in the park. She is stunningly beautiful.
Julia - You did awesome! Thank you for smiling even when it was sort of awkward. What? Squatting on the ground while snuggling up to a barn and my camera inches from your face isn't something you do everyday? :) You look amazing though so it was totally worth it. I had so much fun hanging out with you!
Karen & Julia - Your full online gallery is almost ready! In the meantime feel free to share this post with your family and friends while you keep an eye out for my email :)
